Christ Church CofE Primary School is an inclusive school and we aim for all children reach their full potential. We provide equal opportunities for all children, irrespective of gender, race, need or background. Our provision is carefully planned so that children with additional needs have access to high quality teaching and support which will allow them to experience success and to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND)
Our school local offer
Please find available to download, our school local offer, outlining the way in which children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported at our school.
The local offer will enable parents and young people to get a clear understanding of the services available to our school and how they can be accessed.
What is the Local Offer?
From September 2014 every Local Authority will be required to publish information about services they expect to be available in their area for children and young people, from birth to 25, who have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities and also services outside of the area which they expect children and young people from their area will use. This will be known as the ‘Local Offer’. The Local Offer will put all the information about education, health and care services, leisure activities and support groups in one place. We are working with families in North Tyneside to design and develop our local offer.
