We take great pride in the writing here at Christ Church. We do this by each class teacher choosing one extra special piece of work and celebrating them and what each child has accomplished in writing in our weekly collective celebration worship. Teachers choose the piece of work on the basis of personal achievement.
There are many reasons a pupil can be awarded star writer, from an exceptional piece of writing, showing superb imagination, thought being made about structure or punctuation to a marked improvement in presentation and handwriting.
These pieces of excellent work will also be displayed in our star writer folder in the main entrance for everyone to see just how wonderful their writing is. Anyone is most welcome to come in and read any of these pieces or work that we are all very proud of.
